Job summary

Quest Global is a leading provider of design, development and technical support for Industrial Gas Turbine components in the R&D department of a major energy customer. The team focuses on cost reduction ideas, production engine improvements and resolution of fleet engine faults.

We seek experienced engineers to drive R&D projects across compressors, combustion and turbine sectors, coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing risks to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical / production / aerospace engineering.
• Must have worked in Gas Turbine Engines.
• 8+ years of work experience in Gas Turbine domain with project planning and monitoring using MS Projects/Primavera.
• Must hold PMP or Prince2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage R&D projects related to Industrial Gas Turbines across compressors, combustion and turbine parts.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to launch and complete projects.
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation for critical milestones.

Quest Global projects include generation of cost reduction ideas & implementation in production engines and resolution of technical fault reports in fleet engines.

At Quest Global, we work on design, development and technical support of Industrial Gas Turbine components for the R&D department of one of our Energy customers. Quest Global projects include generation of cost reduction ideas & implementation in production engines and resolution of technical fault reports in fleet engines. We are now looking for a promising and agile engineers who can manage R&D projects related to Industrial Gas Turbines components across Compressors, Combustion and Turbine parts.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical / production / aerospace engineering.
• Have worked in Gas Turbine Engines (Mandatory)
• 3-4yrs of Project Management experience preferably across aerospace and Gas Turbines domain.
• Valid PMP certification or Prince2 certification is a must for this position.
• 8yrs of work experience in Gas Turbine domain and ability to demonstrate project creation, task & resource planning and project monitoring using MS Projects, Primavera is a must.
• Experience handling Gas Turbines Projects and knowledge of Gas Turbine architecture would be given preference.
• Knowledge and awareness of SAP and PLM would be an advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and collaborate with different cross functional teams to take a project from launch to completion.
• Ability to perform risk analysis and mitigate the key risks. Knowledge of risk assessment tools would be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish.
• Must have excellent presentation skills to be able to present in Project Steering Committee and Business Gates meetings.
