Job summary

Rendered Ideas is seeking passionate individuals to join as Game Testers on an onsite basis. Freshers to 2 years of experience preferred; role involves playing and testing the game, identifying bugs, and providing clear reproduction steps with videos or screenshots.

You will work closely with the development team to capture test cases, design and execute scenarios, and ensure issues are clearly reported for efficient debugging. High attention to detail and patience for repetition are essential.

Qualifications

• Freshers to 2 years of experience in game testing or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and methodical approach to computer games.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases
• Follow industry standard while executing test cases
• Take complete ownership of assigned project
• Play and test the game repeatedly in different ways and situations
• Identify bugs and report them clearly, not as features
• Provide clear steps to reproduce with videos or screenshots when possible
• Set up test environments, design and execute test cases
• Ensure reproducibility of issues for developers

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases
• Follow industry standard while executing test cases
• Take complete ownership of assigned project
• Play and test the game repeatedly in different ways and situations
• Figure out unexpected ways to break the game and report bugs
• Clearly identify that you’re reporting a bug not a feature
• Provide clear steps to reproduce with supporting videos or screenshots wherever possible
• Setting up test environments, designing & executing test cases
