Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, compatibility, performance, and usability testing for mobile and web-based games.
- Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using bug‑tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to reproduce issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Verify compliance with UI/UX guidelines and platform‑specific requirements (App Store/Google Play).
- Conduct smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues.
- Provide feedback on game playability, performance, and overall user experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of test results and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in game testing (mobile & web).
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with bug‑tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
- Ability to test across multiple devices, resolutions, and network conditions.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills to document and convey findings effectively.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to automation testing tools (Appium, Selenium, etc.).
- Experience in performance testing for games.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Passion for gaming and understanding of different game genres.
