Job summary

InFocus Technologies in Pune is seeking a seasoned Fund Reporting professional to prepare annual and semi-annual financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS for mutual funds and hedge funds. You will ensure disclosures are complete and accurate, and you will support both pre- and post-reporting cycles to meet regulatory standards.

You will actively use Eagle, Invest One, Fund Suite SX, Report Builder, ARC and Confluence, drive process improvements, and coordinate with clients and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fund Reporting is a must.
• Qualified or Semi Qualified CA/ICMA/CPA/ACCA/CFA; MBA Finance; masters in commerce/accounting.
• 4+ years of work experience in Fund Financial Reporting, Legal Entity Reporting, fund accounting, fund administration with external client and audit interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and semi-annual financial statements per GAAP and regulatory requirements for mutual funds/hedge funds.
• Ensure disclosures are complete and accurate; perform self-review.
• Support pre/post reporting cycle initiatives and work streams.
• Ensure reports meet regulatory standards; implement changes for new standards.
• Assist in developing action plans for quality and production standards.
• Stay informed on regulatory and industry changes and share with the team.
• Use reporting systems like Eagle, Invest One, Fund Suite SX, Report Builder, ARC, and Confluence; propose enhancements.
• Follow key controls and checklists; adhere to procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements with ideas and teamwork.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:-

• Preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements (including work papers incorporated in fund calculations for complex funds/client performance) in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements like SEC, IRS for mutual funds/Hedge funds and perform self-review to ensure completeness and accuracy of disclosure in FS.

• Good understanding and knowledge in accounting principles & preparation of financial statements based on US GAAP or IFRS.
• Participates in pre and post reporting cycle project initiatives and work-streams.
• Ensure financial reports meet clients and any applicable regulatory standards. Follow process changes needed to ensure compliance with any new standards.
• Support team leads in developing and executing action plans for overall quality and production standards.
• Keeps him/herself constantly informed of regulatory, industry changes, and other developments and disseminate the information to the wider team.
• Effective use of reporting systems like Eagle, Invest One, Fund Suite SX, Report Builder, ARC, Confluence and makes recommendations for system enhancements where required.
• Follow all key controls that are in place like checklists and procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements by sharing ideas and working with team.

Preferred candidate profile:-

• Experience in Fund Reporting is a must.
• Qualified or Semi Qualified CA/ICMA/CPA/ACCA/CFA, MBA Finance, masters degree in commerce/accounting.
• 4+ years of work experience in Fund Financial Reporting, Legal Entity Reporting, fund accounting, fund administration with experience in external client and audit interactions as part of financial statement finalization in corporate or CA firms.
