Job summary

Crescendo Global in Pune seeks a Manager Fund Controller to lead fund accounting, investor reporting and financial reporting for Private Equity and Private Credit funds.

10+ years of experience and CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA or a Master’s in Finance or Accounting are required, with strong knowledge of NAVs, valuations, capital activity and complex fund structures. Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential for stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PE/credit fund accounting, valuations and reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and/or Lux GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund accounting, investor reporting, financial reporting and regulatory reporting for PE/Private Credit funds.
• Review NAVs, financial statements, audits, bank reconciliations and fund expenses.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, liquidity, treasury and management fees calculations.
• Coordinate with Fund Administrators to ensure timely, accurate deliverables and issue resolution.

Manager Fund Controller – 10+ Years - Pune

We are looking for an experienced Fund Controller to manage fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting and fund operations for Private Equity / Private Credit funds. The role requires strong expertise in complex fund structures, NAV reviews, valuations, capital activity, fee calculations and stakeholder management within a global Asset Management environment.

Responsibilities

1. Lead fund accounting, investor reporting, financial reporting and regulatory reporting activities for Private Equity / Private Credit funds.
2. Review monthly and quarterly NAVs, financial statements, audits, bank reconciliations, fund expenses and other fund accounting deliverables.
3. Oversee capital calls, distributions, liquidity, treasury activities, management fees, performance fees and related fund calculations.
4. Coordinate with Fund Administrators to ensure accuracy, timeliness, SLA adherence and effective resolution of operational issues.
5. Review complex fund structures, valuations, LPAs, side letters and accounting treatments while driving process improvements, controls and operational excellence.

Requirements

1. 10+ years of overall experience, including 7+ years in Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital or Alternative Asset Management, with strong Fund Controller experience.
2. Strong understanding of PE fund structures, fund accounting, investor reporting, fund operations, valuations and asset management processes.
3. Qualified CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
4. Hands‑on experience with PE fee calculations, carry, waterfall models, complex financial instruments and financial reporting; knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and/or Lux GAAP is preferred.
5. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
