Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India seeks a Fund Accountant with 5–7 years of experience in investment and fund accounting, real estate and private equity. You will manage cash, GL, and investor reporting using Yardi, ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance, and support audits and acquisitions/dispositions.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to optimize accounting processes and achieve accurate financial statements across funds and ventures.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Real Estate Accounting, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Accounting/Finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience with Financial Reporting, General Ledger, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and investor/lender reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with Yardi is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day cash transactions and bank accounts for funds/ventures.
• Process accounting transactions, journal entries, and GL in Yardi.
• Handle capital contributions, distributions, capital calls, commitments, and subscriptions.
• Prepare contribution and distribution calculations and coordinate investor documentation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations and prepare financial reporting workpapers.
• Ensure IFRS and/or US GAAP compliance in financial reporting.
• Support investor, lender, management, and third‑party reporting.
• Support audits, PBC schedules, and audited financial statements.
• Assist with investment acquisitions/dispositions and related accounting activities.

Are you an experienced Investment Accountant with expertise in Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, IFRS/US GAAP, Cash Management, and Investment Accounting? Requirements

• 1. 5–7 years of relevant experience in Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Real Estate Accounting, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
• 2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3. Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• 4. Hands‑on experience in Financial Reporting, General Ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
• 5. Strong understanding of cash management, capital contributions, and distributions.
• 6. Experience with investor/lender reporting and audit support.
• 7. Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• 8. Hands‑on experience with Yardi is highly preferred.
• 9. Knowledge of Yardi Investment Management will be an advantage.
• 10. CA/Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred.
• 11. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
