Job summary

Citco is seeking an Analyst to support fund administration for hedge fund clients in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in NAV calculations, financial statement preparation and reporting while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires an accounting/finance degree with 1–2 years of experience in financial services and proficiency in Excel. A high-volume environment experience is a plus, and candidates should be keen on

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or studying for a professional qualification.
• 1-2 years in Financial Services with high-volume operations or hedge fund exposure is advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer services under administration agreements for hedge fund clients.
• Consolidate and validate handovers across teams and locations.
• Prepare and review Net Asset Value calculations and financial statements.
• Value hedge fund holdings and analyze fund performance.
• Produce performance/P&L reports and related analyses.
• Maintain relationships with internal COE, middle office, pricing and investor relations teams.
• Assist with queries from clients, auditors and advisors.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients;
• Consolidation and validation review of functional handovers across teams and locations
• Preparation and/or initial review of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports
• Valuation of hedge fund portfolio holdings
• Analysis of fund performance and prepare performance/P and L related reports
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with demanding client service agreements
• Escalate priority issues to supervisor and/or assistant vice president in a timely and detailed manner
• Maintaining day-to-day relationships with Citco Internal COE and non-COE teams including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations and Relationship Management Fund Accounting teams
• Support queries from external parties, including client, auditors and other advisors
• Maintain a current and thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies and client specific agreements.
• Contribute to team and/or departmental initiatives

Qualifications

About You:

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry is an advantage
• Display an active interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry
• Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc.)
