Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Hardware Verification Engineer to plan, design, verify and test electronic systems, verification environments, and test strategies for IPs, blocks and SoC components. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet performance goals.

The role requires 2–6 years of experience in electrical/electronics or computer engineering, strong SystemVerilog/Verilog expertise, and hands‑on work with AMBA protocols and scripting languages.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience with a Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or computer engineering.
• Good understanding of verification flow, challenges and requirements of functional verification.
• Experience with IP level, Block level or SoC level functional verification.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog, Verilog and OVM/UVM verification methodology.
• Working knowledge of AMBA interface protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog, digital simulation and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, I3C, eMMC, CAN.

Responsibilities

• Verification of IP, block or subsystem at SoC level.
• Generate documentation for verification (e.g. test plan, test strategy document, assertion list).
• Analyze and debug given blocks/tasks in verification.
• Develop and own the verification environment and verification components.

• Good understanding of verification flow, challenges and requirements of functional verification.
• Experience with IP level, Block level or SoC level functional verification.
• Skilled in digital verification aspects such as constrained random verification, functional coverage, code coverage, assertions, methodology & philosophy.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog, Verilog and OVM/UVM verification methodology.
• Working experience on AMBA interface protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog, digital simulation and debugging.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one of the following protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, I3C, eMMC, CAN.
• Desired experience with PCIe, USB, DDR, LPDDR, GBE, SATA.
• Experience with Perl, Python or similar scripting language.
• Ability to adopt & learn quickly and willingness to proactively take on responsibilities beyond the job description to accomplish team goals.
• Working knowledge of industry‑standard debug tools and waveform viewers.
