Job summary

SWITS DIGITAL Private Limited in Chennai is seeking an experienced Functional Tester to join our Payments/Card domain testing team. The role focuses on manual and automated testing, API checks, SQL validation, and XML/XSD reviews.

You will validate payment workflows, execute functional and regression tests, and collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams in an Agile setup.

Strong knowledge of Postman/SOAP UI, Oracle/MS SQL, Jira/Confluence, and ALM/QC/Octane is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Payments or Cards Domain Testing.
• Hands-on Manual Testing with automation exposure.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation (Oracle/MS SQL).
• Good understanding of XML/XSD.
• Experience with ALM/QC or Octane.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in manual and/or automation testing, API testing, SQL, XML/XSD, and Agile methodologies. This role involves validating payment applications, executing functional and regression testing, and collaborating closely with Business Analysts and Development teams.

Key Responsibilities
