Job summary

Kiya.ai is seeking an experienced tester for Banking/BFSI domain, focusing on functional, database, API, and integration testing in a Chennai-based hybrid role. The candidate should bring strong SQL skills and hands-on Power BI testing experience.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant software testing experience, with preference for banking domain exposure and agile methodologies. Immediate-to-short notice joiners encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant Software Testing experience, preferably in Banking / BFSI.
• Hands-on in Functional, Database, API and Integration Testing with data validation across backend systems.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in Power BI Dashboard/Report testing.
• Experience with API testing tools: Postman, Swagger, SoapUI.
• Familiarity with HP ALM/Quality Center/ALM Octane and SDLC/STLC lifecycles.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and Unix/batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, database, API and integration testing and validate data across systems.
• Test Power BI dashboards/reports end-to-end and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate in a hybrid, Chennai-based team and support Banking domain testing.
