Job summary

Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd. seeks a hands-on BC Functional Consultant to own end-to-end finance and supply chain processes. You will gather requirements, configure posting groups, workflows, and journals, and ensure GST/TDS/e-invoicing compliance while supporting month-end close.

You will also test AL extensions, prepare UAT scripts, train users, and coordinate with partners for issue resolution in a multi-brand BC environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on BC/Business Central functional experience.
• Strong Finance module knowledge including GL, AP, AR, bank rec, assets.
• Experience with Indian localization: GST, TDS, e-invoicing.
• Experience writing functional design docs and UAT scripts.
• Reading data in SQL or running basic queries is a plus.

Job description

Barbeque Nation runs a multi-brand restaurant portfolio (Barbeque Nation, Toscano, Salt, Red Apple Kitchen) with 200+ outlets across India and international markets. Our ERP backbone is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, deeply integrated with in-house applications, banking (H2H), GST e-invoicing, and reporting systems.

We are looking for a hands‑on BC Functional Consultant who can own finance and supply chain processes end-to-end — from requirement gathering to configuration, testing, user training, and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Own functional setup and support for Finance (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, fixed assets) and Procurement/Inventory modules in Business Central
• Gather requirements from Finance, Sourcing, and Operations teams and convert them into functional specs for the technical team
• Configure posting groups, dimensions, number series, approval workflows, and recurring journals
• Support statutory compliance — GST, TDS, e-invoicing (IRN), TCS
• Handle month‑end and year‑end closing support, reconciliations, and audit queries
• Test AL extensions and integrations (payment files, e‑invoice APIs, in‑house portals) from a functional standpoint
• Prepare UAT scripts, train end users, and manage documentation
• Coordinate with technical consultants and Microsoft partner for issue resolution

Must‑Have Skills

• 4+ years hands‑on functional experience in Dynamics NAV / Business Central (BC14 or later preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Finance module — posting groups, dimensions, GL structure, bank reconciliation
• Working knowledge of Indian localization — GST, TDS, e‑invoicing
• Experience writing functional design documents and UAT scripts
• Ability to read data in SQL / run basic queries (advantage, not mandatory)

Good to Have

• Experience in retail, hospitality, F&B, or multi‑location businesses
• Exposure to multi‑company environments in BC
• Understanding of BC web services / API‑based integrations
• Power BI or Excel‑based reporting exposure
