• Expert in Node.js/Nest.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React-based front-end tech.
• Proficient with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Skilled in microservices, containers (Docker/k8s), RESTful services, and CI/CD tooling.

Descripción del empleo

As a Senior Software Engineer, duties include but are not limited to:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software systems.
• Ensuring effective operation of applications through Level 3 support of incidents, effectively triaging bugs, code/data fixes, testing & patching processes with a focus on service restoration.
• Working on the clients vision, design, requirements, and delivery of applications.
• Promoting and adhere to client’s SDLC development standards through automation tooling and manual controls including and not limited to code reviews, release automation and unit test automation.
• Actively participate in code reviews, paired programming and other collaborative software development practices as appropriate.
• Leading and or contributing to end-to-end solution designs that meet the functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Ensuring high-quality code delivery with appropriate testing and documentation.
• Proactively support other team members, working with them to help them improve their skills.

Experience includes, but is not limited to:

• Regarded as an expert in Node.js, Nest.js, Typescript / Javascript, HTML / CSS, React.js.
• Proven experience working with AWS Services like Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, ECR, Cloud watch, IAM, Cognito, RDS, Step Functions
• Experience working with Databases like MySQL or Postgres or other relational databases.
• Experience working with noSQL Databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience with SPA (Single Page Application) architecture and BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns.
• Experience with code reviews and paired programming
• Experience with unit testing and test automation
• Exposure to Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues, Rest based web services.
• Proven experience in writing clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code following the SOLID principles, design patterns and system documentation.
• Proven experience and knowledge on fixing security vulnerability and penetration test issues identified from static/dynamic code analysis tools and scans.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices like Gitlab or Jenkins or Github actions.
• Knowledge of development standards, best practices, and security principles.
