Musafir in Pune is hiring a Fullstack DotNet AI Developer to build AI-powered features for a travel platform. The role combines backend C#/.NET with React and TypeScript, focusing on generative AI capabilities and scalable microservices.

You will implement RAG, chat and agent-based features, integrate multiple LLM providers, and optimize prompts, costs, and observability while working in an on-site Pune office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of C#/.NET development experience with OOP, SOLID, clean-code fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Own product features from design and development to production deployment.
• Build LLM-powered functionality using C#, .NET 10 and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop RAG, chat, function-calling and agent-based capabilities.
• Create retrieval pipelines with Azure AI Search, PGVector or Qdrant.
• Integrate model providers including Azure OpenAI and OpenAI APIs.
• Build responsive UI with React and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, caching, and background workers.
• Optimize prompts and token consumption to reduce AI costs.
• Add observability with OpenTelemetry and ELK, and contribute to Docker and CI/CD.

About the role

• The role combines backend engineering in C# and .NET 10 with React, TypeScript and modern Generative AI capabilities.

What you'll work on

• Own product features from technical design and development through production deployment.
• Build LLM-powered functionality using C#, .NET 10 and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop RAG, chat, function-calling and agent-based capabilities.
• Create retrieval pipelines with technologies such as Azure AI Search, PGVector or Qdrant.
• Integrate model providers including Azure OpenAI, OpenAI and other LLM APIs.
• Build responsive user-facing functionality with React and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, caching systems and background workers.
• Design prompts and optimize token consumption and AI-related costs.
• Implement guardrails, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation and AI observability.
• Add application monitoring with OpenTelemetry and ELK and contribute to Docker, CI/CD and Azure or AWS environments.

What we’re looking for

• Candidates should have 4+ years of C#/.NET development experience with strong OOP, SOLID, clean-code and design-pattern fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, React and TypeScript is required.
• Applicants should have worked with Semantic Kernel, Microsoft.Extensions.AI or LLM API integrations within .NET.
• Understanding of embeddings, similarity search, RAG, prompt engineering and token or cost optimization is expected.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Git, Docker and CI/CD is relevant, along with strong debugging, ownership and communication skills.
