Principal Software Engineer – Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

Role Overview

With 54 facilities worldwide, Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) is the largest network of bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories providing comprehensive laboratory services for the world's largest pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies. This role supports global engineering teams working on next-generation applications and Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) used by scientists, engineers, and technicians across the network.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Design and implement web applications with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI.
• Work with front-end technologies: Angular 2+, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
• Work with databases such as Cosmos DB and MSSQL; optimize data access and queries.
• Utilize version control (TFS) and participate in code reviews and CI/CD practices.
• Conduct UI and unit testing (MS Test, Jasmine, MOQ, NUnit, Karma, etc.).
• Adhere to object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and SOLID design patterns.
• Design and work with multi-tier (n-tier) architectures; provide technical recommendations and problem solving.
• Participate in code reviews, address feedback, and ensure best programming practices.
• Address performance considerations; write efficient code and queries and use SQL profiling tools.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc.).
• Experience with SOA and Agile methodologies (preferably SCRUM).
