Job summary

Eurofins IT Solutions in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB to join our delivery team.

You will design, develop and deploy next‑generation LIMS and platform solutions, collaborating across DevOps, QA and product teams while mentoring junior members.

The role requires strong .NET Core, Angular, microservices and Agile experience, with a focus on performance, scalability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have4–7 years of experience developing end‑to‑end web applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core (6/7/8), C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, WebAPI, Postman.
• Proficient in Angular 7 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, Redis, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, event‑driven and domain‑driven architecture, microservices, MSSQL.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Familiarity with UI and unit testing (MS Test, Jasmine, MOQ, NUnit, Karma).
• Strong understanding of OOP and ability to solve technical problems.
• Experience in code review processes, raising, resolving and closing reviews.
• Awareness of programming best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, performance‑related issues and write efficient code and queries.
• Experience mentoring and grooming junior team members.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
• Worked on at least one SOA project.
• Experience with AGILE practices, preferably SCRUM.

Responsibilities

• Implement customer feedback (changes/enhancements).
• Design, develop and deploy features based on clear requirements.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support.
• Analyze logs, application behavior and system performance to identify root causes.
• Handle incidents involving application crashes, data inconsistencies, or integration failures.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and provide permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with development teams for long‑term fixes and enhancements.
• Monitor application performance and tune for scalability (using App Insights, Grafana, Kibana).
• Support production deployments, hotfixes and rollback procedures; validate post‑deployment stability.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and other relevant regulatory requirements; maintain audit trails and documentation.
• Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to resolve issues and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Guide and groom junior team members for greater responsibilities.
• Document solutions, workarounds and known issues in a knowledge base; provide guidance and training to L1/L2 teams.
