Job summary

Google Operations Center in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Fullstack Development Lead to guide a team of frontend and full‑stack engineers building critical internal Google tools. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure high‑quality delivery.

You will drive code reviews, promote best practices, and collaborate with product managers to align scope, timelines, and architecture across enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• 10y+ experience as Full Stack Dev with 5+ years in people management.
• Expert in frontend web development with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 or TypeScript and Angular.
• Expert with building web apps using Java or Python with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong database experience (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning.
• Experience designing security, monitoring, and debugging for enterprise systems.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for rapid releases.
• Solid understanding of system design.
• Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Spanner and Pub/Sub.
• Strong track record of leading code reviews and secure coding.

As the Fullstack developer Lead in the Google Operations Center, you'll lead a talented team of front-end and full-stack developers responsible for building and maintaining the critical tools and applications that power Google's internal operations. You'll play a key role in setting technical direction, fostering collaboration, and mentoring engineers, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users. Position Responsibilities:

• Guide and mentor the team: Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to both frontend and full-stack developers, fostering their growth and ensuring code quality.

• Drive project delivery: Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects stay on track, meet deadlines, and adhere to quality standards.
  Collaborate effectively: Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other teams to define project scope, gather requirements, and ensure successful project outcomes.

• Champion technical excellence: Promote best practices in software development, architecture, and coding, staying current with industry trends and ensuring the team's technical skills remain sharp.

• Build a high-performing team: Cultivate a collaborative and supportive team environment, where individuals feel valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10y+ solid experience as a Full Stack Developer with minimum 5+ years of people management experience

• Expert with front-end web development programming in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 or TypeScript & framework such as Angular.

• Expert with building web applications based on at least one of these technologies: Object-Oriented Programming language such as JAVA or Python with hands on experience on REST & SOAP APIs

• Strong hands on with Databases (SQL and NoSQL) and tuning queries for performance.

• Experience with design of security, monitoring and debugging of enterprise level development to perform code reviews

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, ensuring rapid and reliable releases

• A solid understanding of System Design principles.

• Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its managed services, specifically Cloud Spanner and Pub/Sub for messaging.

• Strong experience leading code reviews and ensuring best practices across security, monitoring, and debugging for enterprise-level development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years+ experience using GIT based continuous integration & delivery

• Experience in Middleware development/design (remote procedure call based, publish subscribe based, etc…)

• Experience with multiple full lifecycles from Design & Architecture through Development, Testing, Deployment and Debugging production issues

• Strong understanding of the AI toolkits similar to ADK, Anti Gravity, Vertex AI Agent Engine etc.

• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with all levels of global stakeholders, managing expectations during volatile solution transition or stabilization phases.

• Experience acting as a technical delivery lead within an Agile/Scrum framework, efficiently balancing strategic roadmaps with production support escalations.
