Job summary

Google Operations Center in India is seeking a Developer Lead to oversee a skilled operations and analytics team. • Foundational knowledge of AI principles to apply AI tools for data synthesis and trend analysis.
• Proven ability to autonomously design, lead, and project-manage multiple technical initiatives.
• Excellent written and oral English communication for stakeholder management.

Role Overview:

As Developer Lead, you will collaborate with engineering, finance, and operational stakeholders to oversee workflows, document technical solutions, and resolve partner issues through advanced troubleshooting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a technical team of operations and analysts while ensuring balanced workload distribution.
• Oversee the end-to-end team queue, case management systems, and overall project accountability autonomously.
• Establish, maintain, and optimize playbooks, training programs, and feedback loops to hit team KPIs.
• Maintain seamless coordination across multiple cross-functional teams to align outputs with core business goals.
• Monitor operational SLAs, address workflow risks, and manage escalations to higher support tiers.
• Perform technical configuration and code testing to deploy and validate new payment services.
• Lead strategic talent development through continuous coaching, mentorship, and long-term succession planning.
• Transform operational metrics into actionable insights for leadership while proactively implementing contingency plans to ensure system service continuity.

Required Skills:

• BA/BS degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Overall 10–12 years in technical troubleshooting, including a minimum of 5 years in people management.
• Proficient with Google WorkSpace, SQL, Python, HTML, Linux operating systems, regular expressions, and ETL data analytics pipelines.
• Foundational knowledge of AI principles to apply AI tools for data synthesis and trend analysis.
• Proven ability to autonomously design, lead, and project-manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously.
• Exceptional written and oral English communication skills for stakeholder management, with availability for shifting schedules.

Required Certification(s):

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Google Workspace Administrator
• Google Cloud Certified - Cloud Digital Leader / Professional Data Engineer
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile/Scrum (CSM)
