Job summary

Unknown is seeking an AI-native software engineer to design and deliver full-stack applications using React, TypeScript and C#/.NET 8+. You will build high-performance, accessible UIs and secure APIs, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and production-ready releases.

You will collaborate across frontend and backend teams, implement robust testing, and ensure quality through code reviews and proper validation. Knowledge of WCAG accessibility and internationalization is valued.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional software development experience with full-stack delivery (React and .NET).
• Strong knowledge of React 18/19, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling.
• Experience building secure RESTful APIs with C# / ASP.NET Core Web API and EF Core.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain responsive, high-performance UI with React/TypeScript.
• Develop reusable components and manage state with hooks/patterns like Redux or Context API.
• Build and maintain secure REST APIs and backend services with .NET.
• Integrate front-end with back-end services with solid validation and logging.
• Optimize data access with EF Core and SQL Server; tune queries and indexes.
• Implement authentication/authorization using JWT or ASP.NET Identity.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Use AI-assisted development responsibly to accelerate prototyping and testing.

Our teams use agentic AI tools within a disciplined, spec-first workflow. The ideal candidate should be highly productive with AI coding agents, must take full accountability for what ships, ensuring every release is accurate, secure, reliable, and production-ready.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain responsive, high-performance and accessible user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable React components and manage application state using hooks and appropriate patterns such as Redux or Context API.
• Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and backend services using C#, ASP.NET Core and modern .NET.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services, with reliable validation, error handling and logging.
• Build and optimize data-access layers using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, including database design, queries, stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, ASP.NET Core Identity or equivalent solutions.
• Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues across the stack, and participate in code reviews.
• Use Vibe Coding and AI-assisted development responsibly to accelerate prototyping, implementation, refactoring, testing and documentation while validating every output.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 4-5 years of professional software development experience, with demonstrable full-stack delivery using both React and .NET.
• Frontend: React 18/19, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, Zustand, SignalR / WebSockets, Vitest / Testing Library, i18n & RTL (English + Arabic), WCAG accessibility
• Backend: C# / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, Dapper, SignalR, background services / workers, REST API design, authentication & RBAC, xUnit
• Database & Caching: SQL Server, query & index tuning, Redis, event streaming (Azure Event Hubs / Kafka), data migration discipline
• Mobile: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Room, Hilt, offline-first sync, barcode/QR scanning (CameraX, ML Kit, enterprise scanners), Play/enterprise app distribution
• Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards), Microsoft Entra ID (OAuth/OIDC), CI/CD, observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana), Git
• AI-Assisted Development: Agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), spec-first prompting, multi-agent workflows, test-gated AI iteration, critical review of AI-generated code, prompt/agent playbook authoring
