Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, proactive software engineer with 2+ years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack application development and Tier 2/3 production support. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web APIs; modern frontend interfaces; supporting legacy desktop components; and optimizing relational databases. The candidate will also leverage modern AI developer workflows to improve development velocity and support incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and testable RESTful services using .NET / .NET Core Web API (C#).
• Frontend Engineering: Build responsive, clean user interfaces and single-page applications utilizing React and Angular (HTML, HTML5, CSS2, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Legacy System Maintenance: Support, debug, refactor, and enhance existing legacy client‑server systems built on Visual Basic 6 (VB6).
• Database Management: Write, fine‑tune, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers across relational engines (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
• Production Support & Root Cause Analysis: Monitor enterprise systems, analyze production logs, handle L2/L3 issue resolution, bug fixes, and change request implementations adhering to SLAs.
• AI Augmented Development: Utilize AI developer tools and prompt engineering techniques for efficient code refactoring, troubleshooting, and test automation.

Preferred & Desirable Qualifications:

• Higher Qualification: Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is strongly preferred.
• Industry Domain: Prior working knowledge and domain exposure in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech (BFSI).
• AI & Prompting Skills: Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and structured prompt engineering workflows to debug code, optimize SQL, and accelerate delivery.
• DevOps & Version Control: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile issue-tracking platforms (Jira / Azure DevOps).
