Job summary

Recro is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Bengaluru to take full ownership of product quality across Web, Android, and iOS platforms. The role requires experience in both manual and automation testing, with a proactive and independent work style in a fast-paced product environment.

You will design and execute test plans, build automation scripts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to release validation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of QA / Software Testing experience.
• Experience testing Web, Android, and iOS applications.
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Espresso or similar.
• Experience in API testing and debugging.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing for Web, Android, and iOS applications.
• Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, exploratory, and API testing.
• Identify bugs, product gaps, and usability issues across frontend and backend systems.
• Build and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Espresso, etc.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA during sprint cycles and releases.
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, and release validation.
• Use AI-based tools and modern testing techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) Experience: 2-4 Years Location: Bengaluru, 5 days/week Joining Timeline: Immediate to 15 days About the Role: We are looking for a QA Engineer who can take complete ownership of product quality across Web, Android, and iOS platforms. The person should be comfortable with both manual and automation testing and should be able to work independently in a fast-paced product environment. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys understanding the product deeply instead of only executing test cases.

Key Responsibilities
