Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced Full Stack Lead to drive design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications in an India-based role. You will lead end-to-end development across front-end and back-end, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software development, 3+ years in leadership, and strong expertise in React/Angular/Vue, Java/.NET/Node.js, RESTful APIs, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop end-to-end web and enterprise applications using modern full-stack technologies.
• Lead technical discussions, solution design, and architectural reviews for complex business requirements.
• Define engineering standards, coding guidelines, and best practices across development teams.
• Drive application modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
• Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and performance considerations are embedded in all solutions.
• Design and build robust APIs, backend services, and microservices using Java, .NET, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and optimization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Lead and mentor development teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and issue resolution throughout project lifecycles.
• Support estimation, sprint planning, capacity planning, and release management activities.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide project status updates, technical recommendations, and solution roadmaps.
• Drive client-facing discussions and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Required Qualifications
