Job summary

Satcon Technologies seeks an accomplished software engineer with 8+ years of experience to own end-to-end development across backend and frontend layers. You will leverage Python and Java to build robust services and APIs while delivering modern UI using React or Angular.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally within financial services or a similarly complex domain
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java
• Full-stack development experience including modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, or equivalent)
• Proven ability to work independently, drive projects autonomously, and take accountability for outcomes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience in Agile delivery environments with a track record of shipping high-quality software

Nice to Have

• Exposure to or genuine interest in financial markets, investment management, or capital markets workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and data warehouse technologies (Snowflake or equivalent)
