Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is looking for an Engineer - Methods & Tools (Full Stack) to join the digital workforce in Bengaluru. You will work on multi-functional projects, delivering web-based solutions, data analytics tools, and automation workflows for core engineering domains.

The role requires 4+ years of software development experience, strong Python and front-end skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in an agile SAFe environment.

Engineer-Methods & Tools Job Description: Engineer - Methods & Tools (Full Stack)

About the team : Methods & Tools is a transverse team working with different core engineering verticals in Airbus. The USP of this team is working in a multi-functional environment providing digital solutions to engineering problems. The USP of the team is people with Core Engineering domain knowledge complemented by software development skills. The team plays an enabler role in various digitization initiatives across Airbus utilizing the latest technologies and the domain knowledge they have. Some examples of the digital solutions for various Core Engineering departments such as Data driven designs of wiring, automated routing electrical harnesses, Data Analytics based products aimed at reducing physical tests of material specimens. It also involves developing web-based solutions to encapsulate and automate different workflows such as flight test planning etc. In addition to these , developing tools for Electrical Wiring Harness and Hydraulic Circuit design process improvements. Some of the tools developed; are used in the areas of Aircraft Safety analysis and Engineering Business Data monitoring etc. We believe in and follow Agile, Scrum and SAFe methodologies in developing state of the art digital products for the areas mentioned above.

Main Activities

• Knowledge of propulsion engineering basics
• Strong programming skills with Python
• Strong experience with SQL (Structured Query Language)
• Handons experience in PySpark APIs
• Experience in Front-end technologies (Angular / React / Javascript)
• Basic knowledge of Devops( good to have)
• Strong communication skills to confidently deliver multiple projects across many teams
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and ability to analyze large features and implement practical solutions
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Excellent debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires quick adoption of new techniques and out-of-the-box thinking
• Experience with developing large scale UI applications would be an added advantage
• Coordinates and synchronizes with Product Owners, part of the same Agile Release Train
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe / Scrum / Kanban)
• Overall understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Overall experience: 4+ Years
