Job summary

EXL in Pune seeks a strong full-stack engineer with React and Java Spring Boot to design and build scalable web applications. You will work on RESTful services, authentication, middleware, and logging across microservices in a production environment.

Responsibilities include integrating PostgreSQL/MongoDB, optimizing SQL, and deploying on cloud platforms with CI/CD, Docker, and AWS. Familiarity with AI coding assistants and LLM tools to boost developer productivity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in building front-end with React and back-end with Java Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, middleware, logging, and testing.

Job description

Strong hands-on experience in React (including state management, Redux/RTK, Hooks, Typescript) and backend development using Java (Spring Boot).

Good understanding of REST API architecture, authentication, middleware, exception handling, logging, Swagger/OpenAPI, and unit testing.

Strong experience with PostgreSQL/MongoDB, SQL optimization, database migrations, and performance tuning.

Comprehensive knowledge of Kafka, Git workflows, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP).

Experience integrating AWS services and building scalable, production‑grade applications.

Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and LLM tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and improving developer productivity.
