Job summary

Cosmix LLP in India is hiring a highly capable engineer to help build LegalMind. You will own product across the stack—from front-end React Native to back-end Python/FastAPI and LangGraph—and ship complete features from schema to screen.

You will work on AI/LLM workflows, integrate with Postgres, and ensure accuracy in legal content. The role emphasizes self-direction, strong English writing, and collaboration with engineers to deliver clean, well-documented code and interfaces.

Qualifications

LLB or LLM from a recognised Indian institution.
Working knowledge of Indian statutory law and court procedure.
Meticulous attention to accuracy.
Comfort working with digital tools and structured data.
Strong written English for content review and annotation.

Responsibilities

Own product across the stack—from front-end to back-end.
Ship complete features from schema to screen.
Curate, tag, and verify legal documents and AI outputs.
Design flows, screens, and interactions for LegalMind on iOS, Android, and web.

Own product across the stack - React Native on the front, Python/FastAPI and LangGraph on the back. You will ship complete features from schema to screen.

Strong Python and TypeScript - you write clean, typed code instinctively
Experience with React Native or Expo (or a genuine willingness to become expert)
Comfort with AI/LLM APIs and building LLM-backed workflows
Understanding of relational databases and SQL (Postgres preferred)
Self-directed - you can take a problem from ambiguous to shipped without hand-holding

Nice to Have

Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar agent frameworks
Familiarity with AWS services (Bedrock, S3, CDK)
Background in legal, compliance, or regulated-industry software

Build and maintain the content layer that makes LegalMind trustworthy. You will curate, tag, and verify legal documents, questions, and AI outputs against Indian law.
