About The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and ship high quality software. You will own end to end development across backend and UI, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable products.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications following secure coding and quality standards
• Build robust services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate or JPA
• Design and consume RESTful and SOAP web services, including JAX WS where needed
• Develop UI features using Angular and modern JavaScript practices
• Write clean SQL and work with relational databases for performance and reliability
• Create high level and low level designs, storyboards, and interface specs
• Own debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution across environments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, unit testing, and configuration control
• Prepare clear technical documents, reports, and user facing manuals as required
• Provide engineering support from concept through delivery, including customer support when needed
• Coach and mentor junior team members

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Java SE fundamentals, including multi threaded programming and concurrency
• Hands on Spring framework experience, including Spring Boot and Spring Data
• Recent experience building web services using REST and or JAX WS
• Practical experience with Hibernate or JPA
• Proficiency with SQL and RDBMS concepts
• Experience creating both high level and low level design artifacts
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile Scrum practices
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of AWS is mandatory

Nice To Have

• Angular production experience on complex UI modules
• Experience with an Enterprise Service Bus such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, WSO2, IBM Integration Bus, Oracle Service Bus, or TIBCO
• Prior product development experience
• AWS certification
