Job summary

Vonage is hiring for a full‑stack/ frontend oriented role in Bengaluru to build and scale its Vonage AI Studio platform. You will work across frontend and backend teams in a cloud-native microservices setup, delivering high‑quality code and scalable services for millions of users.

You will collaborate on AI features like NLU API and ASR, work with TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS/Python, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP). Emphasis on agile practices and rapid learning.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience with a modern frontend framework.
• 5+ years of experience with NodeJS or Python server frameworks.
• Experience with No-SQL databases.
• Experience with web frameworks and REST API services.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular.
• AWS/GCP cloud hosting environment.
• Virtual environments and dockerized environments.
• Experience in Agile software development methodology: Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience with NestJS framework (plus).
• Experience with AWS cloud environment and services running on it (plus).
• gRPC, websockets (plus).

Translating features and specifications into high-quality code and optimizing components for maximum performance.
• Develop on both the front-end and the back-end of our platform, in a rich microservices environment on the cloud, and an advanced UI.

Vonage AI Studio is a low-code / no-code process orchestration and virtual assistant conversation designer tool that empowers developers and non-developers alike to create and deploy customer engagement experiences that operate in natural language on any channel (Telephony, SMS, Whatsapp, HTTP and more).

We highly value full-stack capability and we work using C# on backend and JavaScript/Typescript on frontend.

Your key responsibilities:
