Job summary

Fulcrum Digital is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to build responsive React front-ends for the underwriting platform, while supporting backend services and integrations using AWS and scripting technologies.

The role requires 8–9 years of IT experience in React/full-stack development with strong hands-on experience in React UI development and exposure to backend development and cloud-based services. Onsite coordination with a client and offshore team is expected.

Qualifications

• React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS proficiency.
• Strong understanding of React hooks, state management, and frontend performance.
• Experience with REST APIs and API integration.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
• Scripting/backend development experience using Node.js or Python.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible UI using React based on designs and requirements.
• Integrate React applications with backend, AI and REST APIs.
• Develop and support backend services using AWS Lambda, SQS, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
• Develop scripts and lightweight backend services using Node.js or Python.
• Manage application state, performance and API interactions.
• Write clean, testable and reusable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application, API and integration issues across frontend and backend layers.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead, Business Analyst and backend/AI developers.
• Onsite developer coordinates closely with the client and offshore counterpart.
