Job summary

FIS is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Java with React) in Bangalore with 6 to 10 years of experience to design, build, test and deliver software solutions for financial services. You will own development areas, collaborate across teams and work on modern tech stacks including React, Java, Spring and microservices.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering scalable web applications integrated with internal and external systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in React +, JavaScript, HTML and CSS and TypeScript.
• Hands on experience in building applications using Core Java, J2ee, Spring, Spring MVC, Rest, Hibernate.
• Experience with Soap/Restful Microservice
• Excellent programming skills and proven expertise in OOP and other programming concepts.
• Experience with Bootstrap and other UI development toolkits/frameworks
• Experience with working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
• Internally recognized specialist on complex technical matters. Champions significant projects using demonstrated leadership and creativity.
• Technical ownership of 1-2 development areas and contributes to other areas.
• Understanding of a FIS product area along with customer needs and market. Handles multiple tasks and can switch between them.
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
