Job summary

Technogen is seeking an experienced software engineer to own AI platform interfaces, SDKs, developer tools, playgrounds, and reference applications.

You will shape AI-native user experiences with streaming responses, tool calls, and agent workflows, while building scalable backend services, APIs, and model orchestration. You will collaborate across Platform, ML, Product and Infra teams to raise engineering standards and ensure reliable, performant solutions.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years building and shipping production-grade full stack applications.
• Strong front-end expertise with TypeScript and React.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Golang.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native services.
• Strong product mindset with attention to user experience, latency, reliability, and error handling.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including APIs, streaming, RAG, tool usage, agents, or conversational AI.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and deliver independently.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Design modern AI interaction patterns including streaming responses, agent workflows, tool calls, citations, human review, and graceful failure handling.
• Backend Services & Orchestration: Develop APIs, retrieval pipelines, model orchestration, caching, rate limiting, observability, and integration services.
• Quality & Evaluation: Instrument applications with tracing, evaluation frameworks, feedback capture, and quality measurement to continuously improve user outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with Platform, ML, Product, and Infrastructure teams to establish best practices for AI product development.
• Engineering Excellence: Contribute reusable patterns, documentation, code reviews, and technical standards for AI application development across the organization.
