Job summary

Lend A Hand India (LAHI) invites applications for a Systems Architect-like role focused on technology projects within the skill and education ecosystem. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, PMs, and state leads to design and implement software solutions while driving process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong .NET/C# backend skills, and familiarity with SDLC, Git, and databases.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in technology projects.
• Familiarity with SDLC and documentation.
• Teamwork and collaborative mindset.
• Interest in social sector adds value.
• Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn new software/tools.
• Practical experience with .NET/C# for backend services and APIs.
• Understanding of Git and version control.
• Experience with databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of SaaS applications and authentication patterns.
• Basic Linux scripting and exposure to DevOps for SaaS deployment on AWS.

LAHI works closely with 20+ State and UT governments through long-term partnerships, providing technical advisory and Project Management Unit (PMU) support to drive systemic reforms. Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience :

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Candidates with 1- 2 years of relevant experience in technology projects.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and an interest in documentation.
• Teamwork and an eagerness to contribute to projects in a collaborative environment.
• Passion for working in the social sector is an added advantage
• A strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn new software and tools.
• Practical experience with .NET / C# for building backend services and APIs
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code by following established coding standards, naming conventions, and design principles (SOLID, DRY).
• Basic knowledge of databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of building SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns.
• Exposure to Linux and scripting is a plus.
• Willingness to learn DevOps basics for SaaS product deployment on AWS.
