Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to work across the complete application stack, shaping technical solutions and building scalable applications. You will help ensure the products we deliver are reliable and maintainable.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into well-structured front-end and back-end solutions using modern technologies. This is a hands-on senior role with real influence over architecture and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development, with strong production experience across both front-end and back-end.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent production experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, webhooks, third-party integrations, and service-to-service communication.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Strong Git experience and familiarity with collaborative branching and code review workflows.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable testing tools.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and CI/CD practices.
