Job summary

Apistride is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join our team in Kozhikode, Kerala. You will work across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud environments on an existing production application and new features.

The ideal candidate has strong web development fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and ownership of features. SaaS experience is a plus. This 100% full-time onsite role is based in Kozhikode.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Strong in TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with React and Next.js.
• Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
• Familiar with Git and team workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with existing codebases and fix issues independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve frontend and backend features.
• Build responsive UIs with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL.
• Work with databases, data models, and migrations.
• Implement asynchronous processing and background jobs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks.
• Troubleshoot production issues across stack.
• Contribute to AWS deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate in Git-based development and code reviews.
• Own features from development to deployment and maintenance.

You will work on an existing production application, develop new features, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to building reliable and scalable software.

The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in modern web development, good problem‑solving skills, and the ability to take ownership of assigned features.

Experience working with SaaS products or platforms will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve frontend and backend application features.
  
• Build responsive, reusable, and maintainable frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS .
  
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL .
  
• Work with relational databases, data models, queries, and database migrations.
