Job summary

Quantbot is seeking a software engineer with 1–2 years of full-time experience or internship with real delivery ownership across the stack. Qualifications

• BTech / BCA / MCA degree with a live project component during graduation (Non-negotiable).
• 1 to 2 years of full-time experience, or an in-depth internship with real delivery ownership across the stack (not tutorial projects).
• Hands-on Node.js (built backend services, not just read docs).
• Python: working knowledge for scripting, automation, or backend services.
• Core DBMS and SQL: schema design, query writing, joins, indexing basics.
• Docker: containerization fundamentals and container-based deployments.
• Git: disciplined commit history, branching, and PR-based workflow.
• Public GitHub profile with genuine, deployed projects (reviewed before screening call).
• AI-assisted development tools: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent in daily coding workflow (standard team practice).
• Claude Code: hands-on familiarity as an agentic coding assistant (autonomous code gen, refactoring, tests, debugging, scaffolding).
• Prompt engineering fundamentals: structured prompts for useful code gen and debugging.
