Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade e‑commerce applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in e‑commerce and software development.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in e‑commerce application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring 5, and modern backend frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices and monolithic architectures.
• Experience building headless commerce and API‑driven e‑commerce solutions.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience using Apache Solr for search implementation.
• Strong experience with Maven for build automation.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to lead and influence technical discussions.

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

• Hands‑on experience with Elastic Path Commerce, including Commerce Manager and Cortex API.
• Elastic Path certification or equivalent training.
• Experience integrating payment gateways, PIM systems, and OMS platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
• Strong understanding of cloud deployment and infrastructure management on AWS.
