Job summary

Synthlane is seeking a Full Stack/Backend Engineer to build scalable backend systems, APIs, and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React.js and production debugging.

You will work closely with product, frontend, and data teams to design reliable backend services, optimize database performance, build data pipelines, and troubleshoot issues across applications and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose application, database, API, and data-related production issues.
• Understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
