Job summary

Franklin Templeton is hiring for a Client Data Services (CDS) role within Enterprise Data Analytics in Hyderabad. The team builds governed data products, supports revenue growth, and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and analytics teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Ideal candidates will have strong SQL, data warehousing, ETL, and BI reporting experience with Oracle/Snowflake and BusinessObjects. Collaboration and AI-enabled data work are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related discipline.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and data-driven solutions.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, use cases, and data needs.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, data mappings, and scalable designs.
• Analyze data flows to identify dependencies, risks, and improvements.
• Define and execute data validation, testing, and QA activities.

About the Department:

The Client Data Services (CDS) team is a strategic part of Enterprise Data Analytics, responsible for delivering trusted, high-quality client data that supports revenue growth, client engagement, sales strategy, and data-driven decision making across the firm. By partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and business stakeholders, the team develops governed data products and insights that enable better business outcomes and stronger client relationships. As a member of a cross‑functional team of data engineers, software engineers, and analysts, you will work on enterprise‑scale data platforms, modern cloud technologies, and AI‑enabled solutions while developing both technical expertise and business domain knowledge.

Core Responsibilities:

• You will gather, analyze, and document business requirements, use cases, and data needs.
• You will translate business requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and scalable solution designs.
• You will analyze end-to-end data flows to identify dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• You will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance analysis, documentation, and productivity.
• You will use AI to accelerate requirements analysis and uncover data insights.
• You will apply structured prompting techniques to address complex analytical challenges.
• You will validate AI‑generated outputs to ensure accuracy and business relevance.
• You will identify opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into data and analytics workflows.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience:

• Experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or data analysis roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and data‑driven solutions.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
• Experience collaborating with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using BusinessObjects or similar Business Intelligence tools.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced SQL querying, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL principles.
• Oracle, Snowflake, and relational database technologies.
• BusinessObjects and Business Intelligence reporting platforms.
