JSW Energy Vijayanagar location seeks a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance professional to plan, manage and oversee maintenance activities for Boiler and Auxiliary areas. You will drive availability, safety, and cost efficiency across Boiler, Coal Handling and Ash Handling Plant.

The role requires 4-6 years in mechanical maintenance, a B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical with PGDC Thermal Power Plant Engineering, and strong coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors.

Responsabilidades

• To achieve 100% availability of mechanical equipment of Boiler and Aux, Coal Handling & Ash Handling Plant by Maintenance and Housekeeping.
• Overall Co-ordination with other departments and external agencies.
• Budgeting, Planning & Optimum utilization of resources to ensure 100% availability of equipment with redundancy setup.
• Material planning and resource allocation to maintain equipment healthiness with optimized cost.
• Ensuring Safety Compliance as per Company rules, with effective utilization of contract workmen for safe working environment.
• Capex and Revenue budget planning for the responsible area.
• Leading the team for execution of Annual & Capital Overhauling of Boiler and its auxiliaries well within timeline with quality.
• RCA for equipment breakdowns.
• Technical Evaluation and finalization of offers from suppliers for spares and services.

Purpose - Why does this role exist?

This role exists to plan, manage and oversee the mechanical maintenance activities with regards to the Boiler and Auxiliary areas and ensure results are delivered with efficiency and safety.

• To achieve 100% availability of mechanical equipments of Boiler and Aux, Coal Handling & Ash Handling Plant by Maintenance and Housekeeping


• Overall Co-ordination with other departments and other external agencies.


• Budgeting, Planning & Optimum utilization of resource to ensure 100% availability of equipment with redundancy setup.


• Material planning, resource allocation to maintain the equipment healthiness with optimized cost.


• Sharing of best practices among other peer group of energy plant for proper / effective utilization of inventory, processes, technology, vendor sourcing.


• Ensuring Safety Compliance as per Company rules, with effective utilization of contract workmen working in our area for mitigating the risk and creating safe working environment.


• Optimization of Maintenance cost Spares & services.


• Inventory control and life cycle assessment of spares for effective utilization.


• Ensuring safety compliance of the Contract workmen, sub ordinates and Equipment.


• Capex and Revenue budget planning for the responsible area.


• Co-ordination with the performance optimization group for effective implementation of processes.


• Leading the team for execution of Annual & Capital Overhauling of Boiler and its auxiliaries well within timeline with quality.


• Item Code creation in data guru in coordination with MPPG team.


• Registering of SOS and near miss in Mysetu Portal


• Follow up with commercial to convert PR to PO and ensure availability of critical spares.


• RCA for equipment breakdowns.


• Technical Evaluation and finalization of offers received from suppliers for spares and services.


• Clearing of Invoices and creating SES


• Wellbeing of Associate team members


• Completion of Safety observations and Trainings


• Follow up for Spares and equipment preservation in stores as per schedule.


• Soft skills knowledge for, Reading Mechanical drawings/Report making/SAP systems/Digitalization, etc

Educational Background and Work Experience

Educational Background :

• B.E/B.Tech(Mechanical) with PGDC Thermal Power Plant Engineering
