Job summary

ALLEN Global is seeking a proactive Counselor to guide prospective students through the study abroad journey. You will manage incoming inquiries, provide detailed information on courses, and convert inquiries into leads.

This role requires 2+ years in study abroad counseling or education consultancy, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce. You will collaborate with marketing and admissions to ensure a seamless enrolment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
• 2+ years of study abroad counseling or education consultancy experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of study abroad trends and customer behaviour.

• Lead Management: Receive, manage and direct calls from potential students or inquiries.

• In-person Conversion: Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective students and families.
• Database Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Job Description:

Lead Management:

1. Receive, manage and direct calls from potential students or inquiries.

2. Convert inbound leads into prospective candidates through effective communication.

Counseling:

1. Provide detailed information about ALLEN Global’s courses, curriculum, and facilities.

2. Understand the needs, objectives, and concerns of potential students and provide appropriate

solutions.

1. Make outbound calls to potential students or leads.

2. Follow up with leads who showed interest but didn’t enroll.

In-person Conversion:

1. Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective students and their families.

2. Use effective sales techniques to persuade and convert leads into enrolments.

Database Management:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads.

2. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

1. Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback and insights about the lead quality

2. Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for enrolled students.

1. Stay updated with all ALLEN Global courses, curriculum changes, and any other relevant

information.

2. Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in study abroad counseling, education consultancy, or a

related field. Strong understanding of study abroad trends, market dynamics, and customer

behaviour.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Results-oriented mind-set with a track record of exceeding targets.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software Salesforce is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in an educational consultancy or university admissions office.

Familiarity with standardized tests like SAT, TOEFL, etc.

Knowledge of scholarships and financial aid opportunities for international students.
