Job summary

Lokal Entrepreneurs Empowerment is seeking a SDE-1 Frontend (Web) to build and maintain scalable web apps using React.js in a fast-paced startup environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a modern frontend stack including Next.js and TypeScript.

The role emphasizes performance, clean code, and ownership, with opportunities to grow into broader frontend responsibilities across Lokal's product ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building production applications with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend development.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or similar.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and frontend architecture.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance and code quality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
• Nice to have Hands-on experience with React Native.
• Experience with Next.js or other modern React frameworks.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Experience working on consumer-facing, high-traffic products.

Responsibilities
