Job summary

ConveGenius, an AI-native education infrastructure company in Noida, seeks a Frontend Engineering Lead (React/Next.js) with 6+ years of experience. You will define and own the frontend architecture, build an enterprise design system, and drive performance while leading frontend teams to deliver accessible, scalable interfaces for Educational technology.

You will collaborate with backend and AI-driven features, shaping the user experiences for millions of learners across government and enterprise

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend development experience.
• Expertise with React and Next.js.
• Experience leading frontend teams and reviewing code.
• Ability to translate UX designs into responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools (Cypress/Playwright).
• Strong frontend performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the frontend architecture, including tech stack and build pipeline.

• Establish accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and ensure keyboard/nav screen reader support.
• Drive frontend performance initiatives and optimize core web vitals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own the frontend architecture: technology stack, rendering strategy (SSR/SSG/ISR), state management, and build pipeline.

• Build and maintain the enterprise design system: component library, design tokens, documentation, and cross-team adoption.
• Establish and enforce accessibility standards: WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility
• Drive frontend performance initiatives: Core Web Vitals, bundle optimisation, image strategy, and lazy loading.
• Build AI-powered user experiences: LLM-integrated UI patterns, streaming responses, and progressive enhancement for AI features.
• Define frontend engineering governance: code review standards, testing strategy, release practices, and security baselines.
• Lead frontend teams through code reviews, engineering best practices, and technical mentoring to raise team capability.
• Translate UX designs into responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces optimised for low-bandwidth users.
• Collaborate with backend team on API contracts and system design
• Improve application reliability through testing and observability.

Must-Have Skills:

• Deep understanding of React Hooks, Functional Components, Context API, and component lifecycle
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, Context API, Zustand, or similar state management libraries
• Strong understanding of UI architecture, reusable component design, and frontend performance optimization
• Experience translating UX designs into responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces
• Familiarity with end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright
• Experience leading frontend teams, code reviews, and engineering best practices
