Job summary

Cognyte in India is seeking a skilled Mid Front-End Developer to join our cyber intelligence team. You will contribute to state-of-the-art security technologies and engage in high-impact projects that aim to keep the world safer and more secure.

You’ll work within a cross-functional agile automation development team, owning the frontend layer and collaborating with product owners, architects and engineers to deliver high-performance web applications with excellent usability.

Qualifications

• BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years’ hands-on experience in front-end web development of high-performance complex systems.
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience working with Angular.
• In-depth understanding of web development process including design, development, deployment, CI/CD processes, automation, build and release flows.
• Experience with REST & web-sockets technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Function as a major part of a cross-functional high performing agile automation development team.
• Responsible for all automation infrastructure development lifecycle including design, development, deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Build, design and develop complex high-performance web applications with focus on excellent usability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems.

As a Cognyter you will:

For that mission you’ll need to have:

• 2+ years’ hands-on experience working with Angular.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, deployment, CI/CD processes, automation, build and release flows).
• Experience with REST & web-sockets technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Would be considered an advantage

• Experience in server-side developmentin Java 8 and related technologies, such as JBoss, Spring.
• Experience with microservices and containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with React
