Job summary

Cognyte is hiring a Backend Developer – .NET to build advanced backend services, APIs, integrations, and data processing flows. You will design scalable backend components, work with databases and messaging systems, and contribute to new projects from design to deployment.

We seek a professional with 5+ years of backend experience, strong C# and .NET 8+ skills, and a solid understanding of microservices. Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, Redis, and SQL, plus Docker and CI/CD, is essential

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET 8+.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and SQL databases.
• Docker and containerized environments.
• In-depth understanding of the development lifecycle including CI/CD, automation, build and release flows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
