Job summary

Bayzat is hiring a frontend engineer to develop responsive SPAs using React.js and TypeScript for a SaaS platform in the HR/Payroll/Finance space. You will contribute to agile planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape product design for optimal customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and building SPA with React.js
• Strong understanding of UI/UX concepts and modern styling
• Experience with HTML5 APIs, browser compatibility, responsive design
• REST APIs experience; familiarity with Swagger, Node.js and Cypress
• Strong data structures knowledge and attention to performance trade-offs
• Proactive, detail-oriented and self-organizing with good English communication
• SaaS/FinTech exposure and design-system experience

Some High-impact Responsibilities You Will Be Entrusted With

• Develop and maintain responsive single page applications using mainly React.js and Typescript
• Participate in agile planning, estimation and development to enable fast iteration and feedback loop
• Communicate proactively with development team members to ensure alignment on goals and objectives
• Contribute ideas and efforts to improve quality and efficiency of the development processes
• Provide input on feasibility, usability and product design to build the best possible customer experiences using available resources

What You Will Need To Have

• Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks used to build single page applications: React.js preferred
• Good understanding of UI and UX concepts
• HTML and CSS: Familiar with HTML5 APIs, browser compatibility, modern styling and layouting
• REST APIs knowledge, CLI tools and testing: Swagger, Node.js and Cypress prefer
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, performance considerations and tradeoffs
• Proactive in identifying and resolving problems and helping others
• Detail-oriented skills
• Self-organizing abilities
• Passionate about continuous improvement and self-educationGood at verbal and written communication in English
• SaaS/FinTech experience
• Design-system and component-library experience
