SupplyHouse is seeking a remote Frontend Engineer in India to join our IT team. You will design and build enterprise-level web applications, translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect markup while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

You will work with React, TypeScript, SSR, and modern tooling to deliver fast, accessible user interfaces. The role offers full-time hours, with a US-based schedule and competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or 6+ years of equivalent professional experience without a degree.
• Strong experience with responsive web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), and TypeScript.
• 3+ years with modern JS frameworks, preferably React, including client-side scripting.
• 2+ years SSR with Express.js and RESTful APIs integration.

Responsibilities

• Build new UI components and libraries for use within our applications.
• Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and aligned with product goals.
• Optimize the application for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Designers, PMs, and Backend to sync tech and design.
• Review code written by other Front-End Developers.
• Follow accessibility and privacy best practices; ensure SEO readiness.
• Stay current with frontend tech and propose migrations to better tools.

Role Type: Full-Time

Location: Remotefrom India

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time / 1:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time to ensure effective collaboration

Base Salary: $24,298 - $30,372USD per year

Responsibilities:

• Build new user-interfaces (UI), components, and libraries for use within our applications
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimizeapplication for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and the Backend Development team to ensure tech and design arein sync
• Review code written by other Front-End Developers
• Ensure industry standard development best practices areobserved, including accessibility and privacy compliance
• Provide awareness and implementation of SEO best practices
• Keep up with the latest front-end technology in the industry and make recommendations to use/migrate to them

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or 6+ years of equivalent professional experience without a degree
• Strong experience withresponsive web development, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript, accessibility (a11y), andNode.js
• 3+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferablyReact, including client-side scripting
• 2+ years of experience with server-side rendering (SSR)usingExpress.js
• Deep understanding ofRESTful APIs,asynchronous programming, and API testing/documentation (Postman)
• Proficiencywithstate management and data flow, including theRedux ecosystem(redux-saga, reselect, redux-persist)
• Experience withHTTP clientssuch asAxios, including interceptors and error handling
• Strong experience withfrontend testing and monitoring, includingJest,React Testing Library, andSentry
• Expertisein translatingFigma designs and prototypesinto clean, valid, pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible markup
• Solid knowledge ofCSS architectures and styling approaches(styled-components, styled-system, CSS Modules, etc.)
• Experience withforms and validation(Formik, Yup)
• Strong grasp ofperformance optimization techniques, includingcode splitting and lazy loading
• Familiarity withmodern build tools(Webpack,esbuild)
• Experience withobject storage services(e.g.,S3)
• Strongproduct and UX sensibility, with attention to edge cases and error states
• Excellentverbal and written communicationskills
• Experience usingAI-powered development tools(e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity whilemaintainingcode quality and security
• High-level proficiency of written and verbal communication in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using AI platforms to increase productivity (ex: Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
