Job summary

Big Oh Notation is seeking a senior frontend engineer to drive our real-time trading terminal and charting platform. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate closely with the CEO, and shape the product roadmap using React and TypeScript in a data-intensive fintech environment.

The role demands hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of frontend architecture, and the ability to work across WebSockets, REST APIs, and Go backend work when needed.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years frontend engineering experience.
• Experience with large, complex, stateful applications.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture and performance optimization.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time/data-heavy applications.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend systems.
• Experience in FinTech, trading, financial services, or market-data products.
• High ownership, autonomy, and strong problem-solving skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong React and TypeScript expertise and experience in financial services/trading products.

You will work closely with the CEO across our real-time trading terminal, charting platform, SDK, and core product roadmap. This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership, technical decision-making, and the ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
