Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) in Bengaluru is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to build polished, responsive web applications for a global SaaS platform in education and tutoring.

You will work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create intuitive features, reusable components, and scalable UI architectures, with ownership and fast-paced delivery in a high-ownership environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend or web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and modern UI layouts.
• Experience building reusable components and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with version control and collaboration workflows (Git).

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using React.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components and frontend architecture.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, accurate, and high-quality user interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs and efficiently manage frontend data and application workflows.
• Build responsive experiences that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Optimize frontend applications for performance, speed, accessibility, and usability.
• Identify and resolve UI, browser, device, and application-level issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help improve frontend architecture and development processes.
