Job summary

CHIREC International School in Hyderabad seeks a Front Office Associate to be the first point of contact for parents, students, staff and visitors. You will manage front desk operations, handle inquiries, maintain records in the school management system, and support admissions and daily administration in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in front office or administrative roles; experience in a school or educational institution is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and courteous attitude.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse, international community.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist parents, students, staff, and visitors in a warm, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails; provide accurate information or route inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area reflecting the school’s professional image.
  • Manage visitor sign‑ins, issue visitor passes and ensure adherence to school security protocols.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Support the admissions team with inquiries, applications, and scheduling of school tours.
  • Maintain student and parent contact records in the school management system.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules, appointments, and room bookings.
  • Disseminate important school announcements and circulars to parents and staff as required.
  • Handle courier services, mail distribution, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.
  • Assist in organizing school events, parent‑teacher meetings, and official functions.
  • Coordinate logistics for visitors, such as refreshments and room arrangements.

About the role
