Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is expanding its CSR initiatives in the Odisha region, focusing on education, health, and women empowerment within rural communities. The Senior Officer will lead need-based assessments and coordinate with government and NGOs to implement social development programs in alignment with ABG themes.

The role requires strong data collection, reporting skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure effective field execution and impact tracking across villages.

Qualifications

• Experience in CSR or community development programs.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with government and NGOs for program implementation.
• Data collection and survey facilitation in rural/community settings.

Responsibilities

• Engage with local communities and stakeholders to plan CSR activities.
• Develop strategic plans to extend CSR programs to nearby villages.
• Analyze community needs using participatory tools and surveys.
• Coordinate with Panchayat Raj Institutions, NGOs and government bodies for program delivery.
• Maintain data and compile CSR reports and MIS records.

Job Description:

Engaging with the community –

• Liaoning with multi stakeholders and basically Govt leverage, Reporting and documentation etc.
• Work out a strategic plan on extending our CSR activities to the nearby villages.
• Community problem analysis through need-based assessment and Participatory tools to identify social need.
• Interaction with local communities, Panchayat Raj Institutions, rural Development agencies, Govt. development Blocks and NGOs.
• Collection of data though organizing various surveys and focused group meetings.

Implement various initiatives on the 5 CSR themes of ABG

• Programs on education to improve the literacy, increases enrolment, & basic amenities to improve the quality education in rural school.
• Organize Health check-up camps for school children’s. Program on Preventive Health Care Support for organizing Health related awareness in surrounding villages. Organize Multi-purpose Medical Camps. HIV/AIDS Campaigning Camps and De-addiction campaign for social development. Health & Hygiene Program
• Support for Girls Education. Organize Adolescent Girls Education Programs.
• Infrastructures support to Schools, Panchayat & others Department.
• Women Empowerment through Skill & Capacity building which includes training, exposure and extension.

Networking –

• Networking with NGO’s, Govt. Institutions and other social development agencies and collaborate with other national / international agencies for project implementation and technical support
• Actively seek out collaborative partnership with Govt. Institutions and NGOs
• Study Govt. budget on rural development and develop dialogue with agencies for fund deployment

To maintain good relations in the neighboring villages to enhance company image and protect interests - Implement and facilitate need-based programs.

Maintaining Data -

• Collection and maintaining downstream data.
• Facilitating and conducting CSR assessment study with social institutions and educational bodies.
• Supplement resources for basic needs of villages, maintaining data for BRC purpose.
• Reporting Unit MPR/HR MIS/Social report

System Management - Supervise & Follow-up of action plans For Integrated Management Systems and World Class Manufacturing in the department.

Safety Health & Environment -Direct, Follow-up & stimulate Safety practices and work plans through DuPont Sustainability Solutions, Environment & Health in the department complying the statutory requirements through continual improvements.

People Development -Execute and follow up of all HR processes as applicable in CSR to achieve desired capacity and capability of the function
