• Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities and optimize resource usage.
• Operate and monitor ETP, chillers, cooling towers, and related systems safely.
• Maintain 100% SAP – PM module usage and monitor plant parameters daily.
• Control raw material consumption and manage salt handling and inventories.
• Implement production processes, set operation parameters, and report performance.
• Drive safety, sustainability, WCM, and continuous improvement initiatives.

KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)

KRA1 Operations

• Ensure uninterrupted supply of DM soft water, steam from coal Boiler, air and nitrogen, optimum utilization to all internal and external consumers.
• ETP/Chillers/Cooling Towers to operate plant safely.
• Ensure 100% SAP – PM Module usage.
• Monitor and mobilize resources for salt handling system RO plant, Hydrogen boiler, cooling towers, air compressors and nitrogen generation unit
• Manage salt handling, and salt inventory, conveyor belt upkeep and salt godowns/areas
• Implement production processes and set operation parameters
• Check plant performance parameters on daily basis and report
• Maintain and control raw material and utility consumption
• Share management decisions/plans down the line for better execution

Control parameters to maintain consumption of chemicals (caustic lye for sod. Hypo, Lime, etc.).

KRA2 Product Quality

Implement process parameters for quality requirements

• Close monitoring of process and quality parameters of RO plant
• Maintain process and quality parameters
• Understand internal customer’s quality requirements for all utilities
• Implement corrective actions to remove customer complaints
• Do RCA/CAPA for all internal quality deviations & utilities breakdown.

KRA3 Plant Performance

Implement plans to ensure optimum plant performance for achieving targets

• Support in implementation of maintenance activities (in coordination with engineering) to ensure minimum losses
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for maximum efficiency and less damage
• Control spillage and idle running of the equipment

KRA4 Operational efficiency & Continuous Improvement

Check process conditions to improve the operational efficiency

• Apply different problem solving tools to reduce the breakdowns.
• Improve efficiency through energy saving techniques.

• Check process parameter deviations
• Debottleneck and follow SOPs to avoid any damages
• Manage the shift activities and prepare Daily reports

KRA5 System Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM)

• Adhere to safety & statutory environmental requirements
• 100% PPE compliance in workplace
• Ensure PPE available for safe operations & functioning as designed
• Encourage team to report near miss, unsafe act/ condition.
• Responsible for difference audits carried out in the plant.
• Responsible for PSM implementation & sustaining PSM requirements.
• Adhere to safety norms & safe operational procedures
• Adhere to OHSAS & SA 8000 & WCM and sustainability norms
• Handle emergency situations like Liquid Chlorine leakages etc. under Disaster Management activities
• Train the team to comply with these norms

KRA6 Customer Service

Maintain system and procedures for customer delight

• Identify internal and external customer needs & take timely action on the same
• Initiate corrective actions, when needed
